Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy

Permissio, Inc.
1. Purpose
This Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy explains how Permissio, Inc. ("Permissio") handles claims that content available through the Services infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights, and describes the process for submitting and responding to such claims.
2. Permissio Intellectual Property
The Permissio Services — including the platform, APIs, SDKs, documentation, user interface, workflows, and related technology — are proprietary to Permissio and protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. No license to use Permissio intellectual property is granted except as expressly stated in the Terms of Service or a separate written agreement.
The Permissio name, logo, and associated marks are trademarks of Permissio, Inc. Use of these marks requires prior written permission.
3. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that Customer Content — including documents, templates, logos, branding, metadata, and workflow materials — does not infringe the copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights of any third party. Customers represent and warrant that they have all rights and permissions necessary to submit Customer Content to the Services.
4. Notice of Claimed Infringement
If you believe that content available through the Services infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please send a written notice to legal@permissio.us.
A proper notice must include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property claimed to be infringed
- Identification of the specific material that is alleged to be infringing and its location within the Services
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email)
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the rights owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the rights owner or authorized to act on behalf of the rights owner
- Your physical or electronic signature
5. Response
Upon receipt of a valid infringement notice, Permissio may:
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
- Notify the Customer or user who submitted the material
- Request additional information to evaluate the claim
- Restore material where appropriate following a valid counter notice
Permissio may terminate accounts of users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
6. Counter Notice
If you believe that material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter notice to legal@permissio.us. A proper counter notice must include:
- Identification of the material that was removed and its prior location
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email
- A statement consenting to jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address, and accepting service of process from the complaining party
- Your physical or electronic signature
